Your search for your new best friend is over! Grumbles is a super handleable, curious, and sweet bird who wants to be your full-time sidekick.
He will fly to your hand, perch on your shoulder (or on top of your head!), and happily take a snack from your fingers.
Grumbles loves being with his people, and he is used to having free reign around the house. He’s happiest being out of the cage and keeping busy foraging, training, playing with toys, or just hanging out and preening your face.
Grumbles has a medical condition that make him a special case. He has Avian Bornavirus (ABV+) which causes occasional seizures and gastrointestinal issues. He takes a daily oral medication, and the vet said that he can eventually take his meds only when he has a flare-up.
Grumbles’ perfect forever family would have plenty of time to spend with him and be okay with his medical routine. It’s important with an ABV+ bird to have a good relationship with your veterinarian and make adjustments to your bird’s diet and environment to reduce stress and promote good digestion.
